Finger Prints

I went and had my finger prints taken for a new job. I find it strange that as soon as I walked into the police station my hands started to sweat. I haven't done anything wrong and I am nervous. This just makes so sense to me. But I now have 3 copy's of my finger prints so should I get lost or only my fingers make it through something bad you will know it is me. :-)

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies

I made these for Travis today. They are his favorite. I don't like chocolate chips so I make some with and some with out. I didn't take that many pictures of the process, kind of forgot, to tell you the truth.

They really are good and easy to make and bake. Here is the link for the recipe. http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Chocolate-Chip-Pumpkin-Cookies/Detail.aspx

Dinner 3/23

Tonight I deiced to make something I haven't made in a long time, Turkey Tacos. I really like them but Travis prefers just regular tacos. They do take a bit longer to make then regular taco's but I think they are good.

Well you start by browning the Turkey and I use some of the taco seasoning at this time as well. And you are also suppose to cook it with onion but I didn't have any today.

Then you add kidney beans, tomatoes and chilies then cover and let it heat for 30-40mins.

Then you are done! I add sour cream, cheese and lettuce for mine and I like soft shell Travis does hard. Either will work.

Turkey Tacos

Ingredients:

• 1lb Ground Turkey
• 1/4 cup chopped onion
• 1 can dark red kidney beans
• ½ can diced chilies
• 1 ½ cup diced tomatoes
• 2-3 Tbsp. taco seasoning mix
• 1 Tbsp. olive oil

Directions:

1. Heat oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and ground turkey and cook until brown. (If you're using leftover white meat, cook onions until translucent then add the chopped up turkey meat to heat up.)
2. Add tomatoes, chilis, taco seasoning and undrained kidney beans.
3. Cover pan and simmer for 30 to 40 minutes, stirring occasionally.
